Play Netball

Net Set GO
NetSetGO is played on Monday afternoons at the Tully High School Multipurpose Centre. Season duration depends on age group. Woolworths NetSetGO is Australian netball’s official starter program for all kids aged 5 to 10. Participants at all levels will take part in skill-based activities, minor games, and modified match play that will help them develop fundamental movement skills, as well as important social skills. Our NetSetGo program follows the guidelines and development programs provided by Netball Queensland. Every registered Woolworths NetSetGO participant will receive an email inviting them to redeem a NetSetGO participant pack via email that includes a t-shirt and netball.

Woolworths NetSetGO is divided into three tiers, enabling participants to develop skills at a pace that’s right for their age and ability:
• Net program is for 5 to 6 year olds and teaches fundamental motor skills through activities and games. The Tully Netball Association does not currently offer a Net Program. Tully Netball encourages parents with children of this age group to take time to help their children develop essential motor skills at home through ball based games and movement activities.
• Set program is an 8 week program for 7 to 8 year olds and focuses on refining fundamental motor skills and introducing modified match play. Depending on availability of coaching staff, Set program participants may be invited to keep playing until the end of the school term.
• Go program is for 9 to 10 year olds and focuses on developing netball specific skills through modified match play. Participants will enjoy a full season netball program and have opportunities to join in match play with the U12 group from time to time as they prepare to transition into junior netball programs and competitions.
